In Part Two of this essay I offer another reason why affirming the resurrection of Jesus by His name (not just by the title Christ) further emphasizes not only God’s nature, but the nature of His kingdom.
Very often Christians use the title “Christ” to refer to Jesus, the Son of God. But there is one time of year I am particularly eager to proclaim the heart of the resurrection message of the earliest Christians and say “Jesus is risen!”
